The two games developers sign big deals
Playtech and Net Entertainment are two of the biggest software providers in the world of online gambling and they are behind some of the most popular internet casinos, with hundreds of titles in their respective portfolios.
Playtech and Holland Casino
Earlier this week, Playtech has announced that it will be the outfit of choice for Holland Casino once everything gets sorted out in the Dutch market and the operator is allowed to launch online. The news comes just a few weeks after the primary affiliate program for Playtech – Euro Partners – was withdrawing from Canada, Finland and Dutch markets.
The deal between Playtech and Holland Casino has quickly spread throughout the industry and the partnership will have a huge market to work with once online gambling is legalized in the Netherlands, which is expected to happen in 2015.
Holland Casino holds the gambling monopoly in the Dutch market for land-based casinos and a spokesperson for the operator stated that the choice to select Playtech came after a long process. According to Interim CEO Willem-Jan van den Dijssel, Playtech brings a lot of experience to the table and this inspires a lot of confidence for the upcoming regulated iGaming industry in the country. However, Holland Casino will not be the only one taking part in the iGaming framework and other operators will be able to apply for a license.
With 700,000 online casino players in the Dutch market and over €150 million in revenue, it is safe to say that the market is very impressive.
The deal with Playtech is expected to include popular casino games such as roulette, slots, blackjack, poker and also bingo. The software developer has recently made all of its live games available on mobile platforms in both HTML5 and Native forms, so the eager Dutch players can also expect great mobile action.
Net Ent inks deals with Ladbrokes and Metro Play
Net Entertainment has been in the online gambling industry from the very beginning and the Swedish game developer has just added Metro Play Casino and Ladbrokes to its already impressive list of outlets.
The deal with Ladbrokes will start off with mobile and then advance to desktop. The strong focus on mobile from Ladbrokes makes Net Entertainment a great choice and should see a variety of games become available for mobile Ladbrokes users. The desktop versions will not take long to follow but the Touch games from Net Ent will be the first to be rolled out.
Metro Play Casino is a new online casino that shows a lot of potential in the United Kingdom and while it doesn’t have the presence that Ladbrokes has, it is expected to get a nice boost from the partnership with Net Entertainment with over 80 games on offer.
Metro Play Casino already has games from IGT, Microgaming and Play’ n Go, so the players will have a nice selection of titles to choose from as Net Ent adds its own popular games, which include some very successful slot titles.
