Get ready for an action-packed NFL Sunday!
The NFL is getting close the playoffs and Week 12 will be a very important one. Not only does it help determine the winners of the divisions but it will also bring every team on equal footing. By the end of the scheduled matches of this week, all the teams will have played 11 games and the off weeks rankings will be over.
There are certainly plenty of great games to look forward to this Sunday and it is a great time to brush up on some sports betting strategies to make sure you make it past Week 12 with your results still in green. The action will start early, as the New Orleans Saints will travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons on Thursday, November 21. Most of the games will be played on Sunday, November 24, leaving only one match for Monday as the San Francisco 49ers are favorites to win their away match against the Washington Redskins.
The New England Patriots will all but certain finish as the top team in the AFC East division, securing a spot to the playoffs, but this does not mean that the rest of the teams should give up; at least not the New York Jets and the Miami Dolphins.
The game on Sunday could very well decide the final AFC Wild Card and while a match-up between two teams with below .500 does not seem that important, it will be a decisive one for both of them and having everything on the line will make for an exciting game to watch on Week 12.
The other Wild Card is already secured by either the Denver Broncos or the Kansas City Chiefs as they are both 9-1 right now in AFC West.
New York is the sixth seed right now and has been surprising throughout the entire league with five wins and a shot at the playoffs. The fact that they will have to travel to Baltimore does give them a disadvantage against the Ravens, which are 3-1 at home.
Online sportsbook Carbon Sports is giving the Ravens a -4 point spread and they are likely to cover it. Get up to $300 in free bets at Carbon Sports.
Indianapolis Colts (7-3) at Arizona Cardinals (6-4)
This game is very intriguing for a number of reasons. One of them being the fact that the Colts have managed to pull ahead in the AFC South and could afford to drop a few games down the stretch and still make the playoffs. On the other side of the field, the Cardinals have no chance of catching up with the Seattle Seahawks (10-1) in their division but have a shot at winning one of the Wild Cards in the conference.
Arizona is coming off a three-game winning streak in which they scored 27 points in each, so their morals are quite high. The fact that their opponents were low-ranked teams that add up to a total of 5-25 in the season can be a problem for the Cardinals as they will have to get past this big test to hope at a postseason run.
Arizona is favorite to win this Sunday at home at -1.5 points but despite the lack of incentives, the Colts will most likely take another win by at least 5 points.
Denver Broncos (9-1) at New England Patriots (7-2)
A game between two strong contenders for the Super Bowl is always nice to see and will be one of the highlights for this Sunday. As mentioned before, the Broncos will make the playoffs but it remains to be seen if they get the Wild Card or if they finish on top of the Chiefs in AFC West. The game against the Patriots will help determine this. Fans will once again get to see Payton Manning against Tom Brady in this prime-time matchup.
Playing at home will give the Patriots a chance to stay in the game since they are 5-0 at home with an average of just under 30 points.
With the Broncos only being -3 favorites according to Carbon Sports, they will most likely win the match and also cover the spread.
